Located in an elegant town house in the historic section of Washington's lively Dupont Circle, the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation has among its holdings and on display hundreds of paintings, prints, posters and sculptures by Polish artists as well as books, pottery, and Polish folk crafts and costumes. In addition, this chapter hosts numerous cultural events throughout the year.

Don't miss rarely seen photos and personal memorabilia of Poland's most beloved son in the Papal and Polish Heritage room.  Two movie theaters at the center play films describing the achievements of Karol Józef Wojtyła, the first Polish pope.  You can lay your hand over a bronze cast of Pope John Paul II's hand in the Hands of Peace corridor.
