Just Call Me Jerzy offers new information on a contemporary Polish martyr to the faith.  Part one briefly recounts his life in Poland, with a special emphasis on stories of his nonviolent witness.  Part two offers a detailed chronology of his travels in the United States and in Canada, with the stories of those who met him and hosted him in 1974, 1976, 1980, and 1981.

Judith Kelly:   I wrote this book to raise Jerzy's profile among people in the United States.  And I wanted to offer Jerzy my thanks for his inspiration and help. The day after praying at his grave I found the link to my "lost" Polish family.

Judith Kelly, an American of Polish heritage, is a longtime social justice activist in the Washington, DC area.  In 2014, Catholic peacemakers in Pax Christi's DC/Baltimore region named her their Peacemaker of the Year.
