William Kucinski

William Kucinski initially joined the Kosciuszko Foundation (Ohio Chapter) in while attending Kent State University. After graduating in 2010, he had planned on participating in the Foundation's Teaching English in Poland program; however, he opted out when he was offered a job as a writer at the NASA Safety Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

After marrying a few years later, he moved to Beaver, Pennsylvania and continued coverage of the aviation and space industry as an editor at SAE International. He sought out the Pittsburgh Chapter to continue exploring Polish culture and heritage. He still hopes to travel to Poland someday.

His interests include art, history, literature, music, science, and theatre. Beyond the Kosciuszko Foundation, he splits his time between teaching traditional Okinawan martial arts, volunteering for local dog and horse rescues (Gentle Ben's Giant Breed Rescue and Bright Futures Farm, respectively), and renovating his century home with his wife, Casey Novak.
