We are back!!!
The Kosciuszko Foundation's Teaching English in Poland Program is looking for Camp Leaders, American teachers, teaching assistants who wish to connect with Polish and Ukrainian children and teachers during summer in Poland. Teachers of all subject areas and levels are encouraged to apply for the 34rd edition of the program!
This year, we are accepting applications for TEIP Camps.
The goal of the program is to exchange social and cultural experiences, through expressing both the individuality of the participants and the sense of community they live in. The program is a way to celebrate the differences and similarities between Poland and America - there's no better way to do that than by getting to know Polish students and volunteering with TEIP! Learn more about offered opportunities below.
Camp Leader
The TEIP Program wouldn't exist if not for our wonderful camp leaders. They assist the KF Team with the recruiting process as well as coordinate, conduct, and supervise all activities for children and young teenagers during their stay at the camps. They help all our volunteers in creating a safe, fun, and rewarding environment.
Teacher
Is English your first language? Great! You are already half way there. Do you posses a teacher educational background and experience in working with kids? That's wonderful! You are invited to become one of our wonderful teacher volunteers. The Camp Teacher works with a group of children in order to provide them with an extraordinary English class experience. Summer Teachers are responsible for creating age-appropriate lessons within a defined curriculum area (art, music, movement, etc.). Summer staff work together to share ideas and to develop joint projects and activities. Within the group, each member is responsible for providing quality care for children and in communicating with families.
Teaching Assistant
Teaching assistants can be college students, retirees, businessmen and women, former military… Anyone who has an interest in experiencing living and teaching in Poland or getting to know Poland better online is welcome to join the program.
Whether you are looking to find out more about your Polish roots, enhancing your teaching skills, exchanging experiences, getting to know new people, or simply having fun - TEIP is the perfect choice for you!
