Vladimir Lihodedov is a Belarusian historian and deltiologist, author of 11 books, and more than 30 exhibitions. He will present his book  "Tadeusz Kosciuszko in old postcards and drawings".

The book outlines the life of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, an illustrious military leader and statesman of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the United States of America and the head of the 1794 Uprising bearing his name. It is the first attempt to graphically trace the life and work of Tadeusz Kosciuszko in four hundred illustrations. The reader of the book would see the places where Kosciuszko lived and fought, plans and panoramas of the battles, in which he took part, portraits of his friends and fellow fighters, memorials and monuments as well as the streets, parks and schools named after this outstanding hero. The book is based on a rich postcard collection of a Belarusian deltiologist Vladimir Lihodedov.

Vladimir Lihodedov will present his book on Tadeusz Kosciuszko, and inform the audience on his work on this and other projects, including a book on Adam Mickiewicz.
