Publishers Weekly, in a starred review, calls Splinterlands
"a chilling, thoughtful, and intuitive warning.
Barbara Ehrenreich, the author of Nickle and Dimed, says:
"Splinterlands paints a startling portrait of a post apocalyptic tomorrow that is fast becoming a reality today.
Fast-paced, yet strangely haunting..." And Mike Davis, author of City of Quartz, says that
"John Feffer is our 21st-century Jack London."
John Feffer is the author of several books including the novel Foamers and the non-fiction book Shock Waves, an account of East-Central Europe after the 1989 revolutions. He has written and performed several one-man shows, including The Bird, and has received a Maryland State Arts Council award for his performance. He has been an Open Society fellow, a PanTech fellow, and a Scoville fellow. He is currently finishing a book on the rise of populism in East-Central Europe.
