Dorota Piotrowska, Drums
She is known on the New York jazz scene for her swing feel and compositions that encompass modern themes rooted in traditional rhythms. Her band is comprised of a lively mix of musicians that seamlessly blend neo-bop and Latin influences in a progressive eclectic sound that references her background in dance and literature. 


Jeremy Pelt, Trumpet
Jeremy Pelt has become on of the preeminent young trumpeters within the world of jazz.  Forging bonds with the Mingus Big Band very early on, as his career progressed, Pelt built upon these relations to collaborate with some of the genre's greatest masters such as Cliff Barbaro, Keter Betts Bobby "Blue Band', Ravi Coltrane, Charli Persip, to name a few.  Pelt is currently touring throughout the US and Europe in support of his latest release "Tales, Musings, and Other Reveries" (Highnote Records, 2015)

Allyn Johnson, Piano
Allyn Johnson, originally from Washington, D.C., is a multi-talented musician, composer, arranger and producer whose trademark sound gives brillianceand fortitude to the art of jazz improvisation.  In 2005 Allyn started an ensemble combining Gospel, Jazz and Classical music called Divine Order. He also has a group called Sonic Santuary which may be heard as a trio or small ensemble which ranges from acoustic straight ahead jazz to jazz fusion and funk.

Eric Wheeler, Bass
Eric Wheeler is a Washington, D.C. native and has been studying string bass for 17 years.  He began studying classical music at the age of nine at the DC Youth Orchestra Program and went on to study jazz at the Duke Ellington School for the Arts.  Wheeler received both a Bachelor's and a Master's degrees from Howard University.  He has performed with notable jazz artists including Stephon Harris and Cyrus Chestnut.  Wheeler performed in various jazz festivals including the Charlie Parker Festival.  Wheeler performs a wide variety of music and has appeared on several R&B, gospel and classical recordings.
