How Do Central Banks Manage Their Reserves? - Talk by Katarzyna Zajdel Kurowska and Joanna Grochalska

We return after the holiday season with our series – "Słoń a sprawa polska" – where we will discuss current topics in the context of how they matter to Poland. After the last conversation about the future of work and social protection, we would like to invite you to a debate on how central banks manage their reserves.

 

Besides gold, what do central bank reserves consist of and how can central banks diversify their asset holdings? These and other questions will be discussed by Katarzyna Zajdel-Kurowska (World Bank ) and Joanna Grochalska (International Monetary Fund), and the debate will be moderated by Lucyna Gornicka from the IMF.
