The Personal Revelations

An event by Jerzy Dobrzanski, this year's KF Grantee. 

" The Personal Revelations" exhibition includes video,  photography and drawings. One of the presented photo series is  inspired by the famous Rembrandt van Rijn painting from 1660 entitled " The Artist at his easel". In this painting the  light which comes from an unidentified source, exposes suddenly a  silhouette of the painter at work on the next piece in a moment of artistic illumination. Transforming this idea to nowadays  Mr. Dobrzanski wants to show the relationship between the artist and his easel, where the source of light is a blank page on computer monitor, not yet filled by creating person.
