The Kosciuszko Foundation and The Polish Theatre Institute in the USA, Inc. are honoring the memory of Janusz Korczak with a play by Tamara Karren, "WHO WAS THAT MAN", based on Janusz Korczak's Ghetto Diaries.
The role of Janusz Korczak is portrayed by Paul Savior.

Janusz Korczak, born Henryk Goldszmit in 1879. He was renowned throughout Europe as the world's first advocates of children's rights, was the first to introduce progressive orphanages in Poland, wrote on both fictional and scientific books and plays about and was admired as a great medical doctor specializing in child psychology.
Seventy years ago Janusz Korczak chose to march through the Ghetto together with his children and staff to the train that would take them to the death camp in Treblinka.
