The album "Faces of Music - photography 1982-2015" by Andrzej Tyszko, presents photographs of Polish music stars of Pop & Blues, Rock, Jazz and Classical Music. The author also presents over 40 covers of his own authorship from the same period. The album should be appreciated by passionate photographers, music lovers, and anyone who would like to see for themselves how the Polish music scene changed.
WALK AWAY – recognized as the best Polish band of the last twenty years was created by Krzysztof Zawadzki, drummer in mid 1980s. The band has performed fusion jazz in most recognized clubs and concert halls from the Ural Mountains to the Mediterranean Sea and at the biggest world festivals. An important moment in the group's career was the tour with Miles Davis.
Walk Away regularly co-operates with acclaimed jazz artists such as Urszula Dudziak, Michal Urbaniak, Ewa Bem, Lora Szafran, Ryszard Rynkowski, Mieczyslaw Szczesniak, to name just a few. Also some of the most recognized American musicians played with the band: Mike Stern, Eric Marienthal, Mino Cinelu, Frank Gambale, David Fiuczynski, Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, Dean Brown, Victor Bailey, David Gilmore, Bob Berg, Joey Calderazzo, and David Kikoski.
