Join us for a screening of "Out of Many, One… In the Spirit of John Paul," a documentary on a concert event celebrating the peace-loving legacy of Pope John Paul II. The musical portion of the program is featuring the Chicago Symphony Chorus and Lyric Opera Orchestra under Pope John Paul II's personal Maestro, Sir Gilbert Levine. Maestro Levine will be present during the screening.

After the film, please join us for a glass of Prosecco and... napoleon pastry (kremowki) provided by Syrena Bakery.

In addition to the gala concert, filmed in Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center (Chicago), the program includes on-air visits to major cultural and religious landmarks of Chicago, including St. Hyacinth Basilica (Elevated by Pope John Paul II in 2003), KAM Isaiah Israel Synagogue(Founded in 1847), Pilgrim Baptist Church (Famed for its great Gospel tradition), Civic Opera House (Home of the Lyric Opera), and the Art Institute of Chicago (Renowned for rich collections of Picassos, Matisses, and Chagall "American Windows", etc.), as well as vintage footage of, and excerpts from John Paul's Homily in Grant Park on the occasion of his Papal visit to Chicago in 1979.
Participating organizations included the Polish Consulate General in Chicago, American Jewish Committee, Archdiocese of Chicago, Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, Polish National Alliance, Polish Roman Catholic Union, Polish Museum of America, as well as the Chicago Symphony Association and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
