Jack Strong Film Screening

Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 7:00pm

Jack Strong (written and directed by Władysław Pasikowski) tells the real-life story of Ryszard Kukliński, a high-ranking Polish army official who defected and became an American spy in the final stages of the Cold War. Marcin Dorociński portrays Kukliński (whose spy nickname gives the film its title) as a man of high morals and deep anguish – as well as one paying a high price for his courageous choice that led many of his compatriots to brand him a traitor. American actor Patrick Wilson plays Kukliński's CIA connection and is joined by (his wife) Dagmara Domińczyk, a Polish-born American actress and writer, whose recent novel "Lullaby for Polish Girls" has been a bestseller both in the U.S. and Poland.

The screening will feature a special Q&A with actors Dagmara Dominczyk and Patrick Wilson.

When:  7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30th
Where:  Tribeca Film Center, 375 Greenwich St.
