violinist, Anastasia Khitruk and pianist Elena Baksht.

Sonata for Violin and Piano by Caesar Franck

Franck's best known work, the Sonata for Violin and Piano was composed in 1886 and dedicated to the world renowned violinist Eugene Ysaye. This great virtuosic work has become a standard by which all other violin sonatas are now measured. Our December 12 concert features two exceptional soloists in this colorful and spirit filled program.
