At the end of February, the Kosciuszko Foundation in Washington D.C. presented the 2nd edition of the Chopin Piano Academy – Master Classes with renowned pianists, Chopin experts, and laureates of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. The online version of the Chopin Piano Academy exceeded our expectations. The number of applications received tripled since last year, and the level of submissions was outstanding. The Academy closed with a celebration of Frederick Chopin's 111th birthday. The viewers enjoyed inspiring speeches by the Guests of Honors with heartfelt Happy Birthday wishes to our beloved Polish composer.
